Osborn’s study of the Cleveland Convention Center foundation proves it is feasible to re-use it
Osborn was contracted by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners to perform an engineering review analysis of the foundation of the existing Cleveland Convention Center site to see if it can support a new trade show complex proposed by Medical Mart Properties, Inc.
Based on our understanding of MMPI’s plan for re-using the existing foundation system, the results of the material and soils testing provided by PSI, and our thorough review of the design drawings and existing conditions of the Convention Center, Osborn Engineering concludes that the existing concrete mat and foundation walls are sound and can be re-used as the base for the proposed New MedMart Project.
