DHL - Air Park

As their "Yellow & Red" trucks drove across our TV screens, DHL announced their move into the domestic overnight package delivery business; Osborn was challenged to assist with the expansion of their Wilmington Ohio Air Park. Working with DHL and highly skilled professionals, Osborn provided designs for over 1,200,000 square foot of building expansions and new facilities. Projects varied from the expansion of the package sort area by 1,000,000 SF, a new vehicle maintenance facility, existing facility expansions, office programming, to a comprehensive electrical study. All design and construction had to be completed in under a year, and to make it more difficult, all existing operations could not be interrupted.
