New Hub Prototype
In the fast paced overnight package delivery business, speed, accuracy and customer service are an absolute requirement. So when Federal Express needed an architectural and engineering firm they counted on Osborn for the design of their new hub prototype. Working with the operational requirements established by Federal Express's engineers and the material-handling equipment designer/manufacturer, Osborn teamed with Pickering, developed the prototypical hub for all future distribution facilities. We have adapted the prototype to two sites in Maryland and Kentucky.
