Air Springs Technical Center - Green
Fifteen years after being the engineers on the original Air Springs Plant, Goodyear once again called upon Osborn to design the Air Springs Technical Center. The driving forces behind the new Tech Center were to develop a facility to test prototype and existing products and to allow customers to see the products in operation. Osborn worked with Goodyear's engineers and planners to develop the facility layouts, define utility needs and provide the complete facility design. Ground rules included developing a clean attractive facility with all services being routed in trenches to keep piping and conduit out of site. Osborn assisted with the redesign of the test equipment including the adapting of sound attenuating enclosures.
