HVAC Improvements
Years of experience in optimizing the performance and efficiency of HVAC systems in existing buildings was the main reason Osborn was selected to provide MEP engineering and commissioning services for the upgrade of the HVAC air handling systems at Kent State University's Music & Speech Center. The aging and complex building's mechanical systems were nearing the end of their useful life and were in need of an overhaul. Through careful planning and project phasing, each air handling system is being modernized with minimal disruption to the faculty and staff occupying the building. Although Osborn is performing the mechanical and electrical design for the project, we also are providing commissioning services on the project to ensure that the new systems are installed properly and operate at peak efficiency.
