New Automated Packaging System
When Holopack, a contract drug manufacturer utilizing BFS (blow-fill-seal) technology for the aseptic packaging of liquids, began to exceed their facility capacity, they looked to Osborn to assist their team. Osborn provided expertise to allow for the implementation of a new automated packaging system to increase the output of the facility. Additional services provided by Osborn included a process flow analysis of raw and finished materials, manpower requirements, three-dimensional animations, quality control requirements, and incorporation of a new MIS system. Osborn was entrusted to provide total project coordination between Holopack, the equipment vendors, software integrators, and the construction contractors. Osborn's efforts on this project allowed Holopack to improve productivity, doubling the facility output while dramatically reducing staff levels.
