Matt is Director of Commissioning at Osborn Engineering with extensive experience working in the commissioning, energy services, design-build, and consulting engineering fields. He has commissioned a wide range of building systems from HVAC, Plumbing, and Lighting to Security, Fire Alarm, Fire Protection, and the Building Enclosure. This work was performed within various markets, including healthcare, educational, governmental, institutional, and commercial. Mr. Nelson has presented at various seminars and conferences regarding commissioning such as the ASPE National Technical Symposium, the AIA-Ohio Conference, and the FEBB Annual Conference. In addition to speaking, Matt has also been involved in the development of ASHRAE’s commissioning (BCxP) and building energy assessment (BEAP) certification examinations with other internationally recognized commissioning and energy experts.
