Mike Burgess

Vice President of Infrastructure
Mike Burgess serves as Osborn’s Vice President of Infrastructure and has over 40 years of engineering experience in management, design, and business development. As Vice President of Infrastructure, Mike is responsible for strengthening Osborn’s infrastructure services across Central and Southern Ohio while expanding the practice to its Michigan offices. Mike is also responsible for the business development and support of the firm’s position in the Municipal Sewer District, infrastructure, and government work in the Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, and Detroit areas across all disciplines. Upon graduating from Ohio University in 1982, Mike began his career as a Bridge Engineer for URS and has worked on various projects for major Cities, Ohio DOT and the Ohio Turnpike. Throughout his career, Mike has been an integral part of every firm he has been a part of, leading the charge on client growth and being a project visionary of the Transportation, Government, and Municipal industries. Some of his notable projects include the $700M Advanced Secondary WWTP Program for the City of Columbus, the $1B Ohio Turnpike Third Lane Program, The Cleveland Innerbelt MIS including the $250M Cleveland Inner Belt Design/Build Project, and most recently the Landside Bridges associated with the $3B Hampton Roads Bridge/Tunnel Design Build Program.
