Osborn Engineering provided technology and commissioning services for a 300,000 SF, full-service hospital with 175 beds, including women’s services and enhanced cardiology services. The hospital was designed with modern features, including placing diagnostic equipment near the ICU for patients who need it the most, and corridors designed with calming LED lighting, and centralized staff services to minimize noise. 
 
Technology services included: Structured Cabling System SCS, Access Control, Surveillance Cameras, Audio Visual, Lab information management services (LIMS) Picture Archiving and communication system (PACS), Blood and Plasma bank alarms, Infant protection system, Pharmacy Alarm per USP 797 - 800, and Voice over IP (VOIP).
 
Commissioning services were provided throughout the project and included the design, deliverable review, construction administration support (OAC meetings), acceptance testing, and post-construction phases including system manuals and seasonal testing. Osborn provided recommendations to the entire project team for coordinating and implementing the commissioning activities in a logical, sequential and efficient manner, using systematic and consistent protocols and centralized documentation.
