Manatee County School District - Field Replacements

Manatee County School District | Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch , Florida
OSPORTS/Osborn Engineering provided design and engineering services for multiple athletic field upgrades within the Manatee County School District. The projects included converting natural grass fields to synthetic turf at Manatee, Palmetto, and Lakewood Ranch High Schools, with improvements to site infrastructure, drainage, and field systems. Key Stakeholders on the projects consisted of representatives from the Manatee County School District. Services included site-civil design, permitting, and construction administration, all within a design-build project model.
 
Manatee and Palmetto High Schools Synthetic Field Turf Replacements: OSPORTS/Osborn Engineering provided design and engineering services to convert the athletic fields at Manatee and Palmetto High Schools from natural grass to synthetic turf. The scope included assessing and replacing/improving fencing, concrete curbs, drainage systems, floodplain considerations, and electrical/communication needs.
 
Lakewood Ranch Field Replacement: Osborn Engineering also upgraded Lakewood Ranch High School’s grass field to synthetic turf. All infrastructure within the track limits, including the storm system and field events, were relocated to protect the new turf and its warranty. The existing track remained and was protected during construction.
