Orlando Health / Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is three new buildings at Institute Square:
  • Medical Pavilion
  • Women’s Pavilion
  • Parking Structure with Imaging Facility and Office Space
The Medical Pavilion provides multidisciplinary state-of-the-art outpatient services and is a new, 123,000 SF, four-story, multi-tenant facility. It houses Orlando Health departments and external partners offering Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology Clinics, Oncology Research, Orthopedic Clinics, Imaging Center, Laboratory and other specialty clinics.

The Women’s Pavilion is a 63,000 SF, three-story multi-tenant facility including external and internal partners offering advanced women’s health services.

To support the increased parking demands of the new buildings, the new 820-car precast concrete parking structure contains a 9,800 SF imaging facility and 1,180 SF office space to address the City of St. Petersburg’s “active use” zoning requirement.

Osborn provided commissioning services throughout the project, including the design, construction, acceptance, and post-construction phases through a collaborative team approach. For this whole building commissioning approach, the firm developed and documented:
  • The Commissioning Plan that outlines commissioning roles/responsibilities
  • Integration of commissioning activities into the master construction schedule
  • Ensured that the contractors provided the approved equipment/system
  • Ensured that the equipment/systems were installed correctly
  • Verified that the device/system functioned correctly
  • Demonstrated that operable systems were fully integrated within the completed facility
  • Verified training of O&M personnel
