Osborn Engineering has long recognized that fire protection and life safety design services are best provided by specially trained practitioners.  For that reason, Osborn took a leadership role in establishing a dedicated Fire Protection and Life Safety Group dedicated to fire protection design and consulting services.  Osborn offers a full range of building and fire code consulting and engineering design services from alternative compliance studies to detailed design of fire suppression and fire alarm systems.  The Osborn team has in-depth code knowledge and experience allowing us to resolve the toughest code issues and design problems with the most cost-efficient solutions for our clients.  We provide comprehensive design services from performance-based design to installation (shop) drawings.  Our life safety team works with our clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other project stakeholders to provide a compliant and safe built environment. 

Osborn’s Fire and Life Safety Group has extensive experience across every aspect of the industry including, but not limited to, automatic fire suppression, building and fire code consulting, fire alarm and mass notification systems, hazardous materials studies, and passive fire resistance/protection.  This expertise has been applied across the full range of industries and occupancy types from primary and secondary education to healthcare, transportation, and heavy industrial, to sports and entertainment facilities.
