Vickie is a motivated Senior Project Manager, with over 40 years experience in complex transportation planning and design, including NEPA coordination She has managed large-sized ODOT projects including the 6-mile widening of the I-271/I-480 corridor in Cuyahoga and Summit Counties, and the upgrade of SR 8 in downtown Akron. She also managed a 1.5 mile upgrade of US 422 in Geauga County between SR 528 and the County line. With a speed limit of 55 mph, originally US 422 was a 4-lane bifurcated roadway with substandard median widths, shoulders, and vertical grades. The upgrade removed the bifurcation, widened the shoulders and included retaining walls to limit ROW takes and improve vertical grades. Her experience in managing projects with multiple disciplines, goals, and needs allows her to conduct plan reviews with a comprehensive approach and eye towards clear communication, consistency and adherence to ODOT standards and preferences.
