The clinic simulates a private practice environment that enriches the clinical training of the veterinary students and will be dedicated to training students to manage patients across the entire spectrum of care, emphasizing the importance of offering diagnostic and treatment options for clients across the socioeconomic spectrum.
The first floor includes a lobby and reception area, exam rooms, treatment stations, small animal wards, dentistry, surgery, two garage bays, a loading dock and exterior dog run. The second floor includes a conference room, offices, break room, mechanical room and 9,500 GSF of shell space which will be renovated as a separate project in the future. The clinic is tracking for a minimum of LEED Silver certification.
