The Pompano Beach Library was a joint-use project between the city of Pompano Beach and the Broward County Library System. The design architect was Monica Ponce de Leon; the dean of the Princeton School of Architecture. The architect of record was Silva Architects from Miami. The project was approximately 36,000 SF on two floors. The Pompano Beach side was an 11,000 SF cultural center which included a large auditorium. Osborn provided Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical Engineering services. The Cultural Center and the Library each required their own separate electrical services with separate metering. Site lighting and electrical distribution were required. The project was LEED Gold Certified.
