Hilton Hotel

Cuyahoga Convention Center | Cleveland , Ohio
Osborn Engineering provided Civil/Site Engineering and Fire Protection design services for the new Hilton Hotel in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. This 2-acre property was the former site of the Cuyahoga County Administration Building. The new hotel consists of 602 guest rooms, 33 floors, and towers 374-feet above Lakeside Avenue. The civil design included extension of utility services from the available mains to the structure and grading around the building perimeter. The fire protection design addressed the necessary fire pumps and sprinkler system for the requisite review and approval by the permitting authorities. This new $260 million structure with tight project constraints and a fast-track schedule opened in February of 2016. The Osborn team closely coordinated with the project team to ensure a cohesive design met the project’s needs, time frame, and budget.
