The new $38 million, 70,437 SF health center located in Brecksville, Ohio, is one of four for MetroHealth to assist the community. The 2-story, free-standing medical and surgical outpatient center houses a 24-hour emergency room with a helipad for life flight operations, medical offices which include primary and specialty care (cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, OB-GYN, ophthalmology, and orthopedics), pathology and radiology services, pharmacy and infusion services. The surgery center features three state-of-the-art operating suites. The health center was designed in conjunction with Signet Development, CBLH Design, and Perspectus Architecture.
 
Osborn Engineering provided MEP, Process, and Technology engineering services to the design team with a focus on building performance. Osborn’s Technology group was responsible for the design of all technology systems. The radio systems required for this facility included multiple services existing on the Public Safety 800 band as well as Local First Responders in VHF High Band, including but not limited to MARCS, Brecksville, Broadview Heights and the Greater Cleveland Radio Network, as well as Verizon and AT&T for cellular and personal data services, and Spok Paging.
