Osborn Engineering provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering services for 65,000 SF of interior tenant fit-out for the new corporate headquarters of Summa Care in the former Goodyear Headquarters in Akron’s East End development. The design was fast-tracked for the following phases: Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Design, during which Osborn worked closely with the developer, program architect, and tenant. The mechanical scope included the design of all new VAV air distribution with hot water reheat coils. The design and layout of the new technology infrastructure included multiple data equipment rooms. The electrical engineering included providing power distribution to office equipment furniture systems and a full lighting systems design. Osborn also provided the plumbing facilities design for multiple kitchenette locations. The project was completed in association with MELD architects from Cleveland, OH.
