Brian Kane serves as the Director of Mechanical for Osborn Engineering. Brian's experience includes HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design of office and institutional buildings, professional stadiums and recreation centers, distribution facilities, retail facilities, and schools. His experience includes both new construction, renovation to existing buildings, and construction administration. He was the Lead Mechanical Engineer for 6 LEED certified buildings including one that achieved gold certification.  A notable portion of Brian’s background includes energy audits, life cycle cost studies, boiler and chiller central plant design, variable refrigerant flow system design, HVAC design for critical environments, and design to improve indoor air quality and sanitation. He has experience in energy modeling, utility bill analysis, technical reports, and providing engineering design to implement energy conservation measures.  Brian has experience with Revit MEP (BIM), ACAD MEP, and many engineering load calculation, life cycle cost, and custom equipment selection applications.  He has also provided expert witness reports for two legal cases.
