Emily began practicing bridge design and inspection with Osborn 15 years ago. Her responsibilities include design group management, project management, bridge design, analysis, inspection, load rating, hydraulic analysis, cost estimation and plan preparation. As project engineer, Emily has contributed to the design and rehabilitation of a variety of bridge types and sizes ranging from pedestrian structures and single-span creek crossings to large, multi-span interstate bridges. Emily's responsibilities also include project management; serving as Project Manager on the BEL-40-27.48 bridge replacement in District 11, and as deputy PM on several bridge projects for Districts 3 and 12. She has experience in structural design softwares Merlin Dash, ConSpan, RISA, STAAD, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, HEC-RAS, and TEDDS. She is ODOT prequalified in Level 1 Bridge Design and Inspection and Bicycle Facilities and Enhancements.
